Personal disasters happen every day. Emergencies come on quickly and without warning. What would you do if your whole world came crashing down?
If you havent given much thought to your personal disaster plans, now is the time. Start by putting together a bag for each member of your family that can be grabbed in a split second in case you need to escape your house quickly. It should contain at least: season appropriate clothing, food, water, and other necessities. There are many kits available for purchase, or you can build your own using supplies you may already have.
