As you write your review, you will want to keep a few things in mind. Assume that your audience is generally familiar with the arts, well informed, and curious about the new events or about new interpretations of familiar works. They will expect that you take a stand on the work you review. Additionally, remember to illustrate the points you make with relevant and specific examples. You may also consider briefly comparing or contrasting the performance or works in an exhibit that you are reviewing with similar ones that you can reasonably assume your reader to know.

The review should be at least 2 ½ to 3 double-spaced pages, and should adhere to MLA format regarding the use of italics and quotation marks when referring to artwork

Remember: This is not meant to be a close analysis of a single painting, sculpture, building, song, etc. If you discuss only one piece of art work, you will fail the assignment.
