Where can you find “good” information? A great place to start is http://www.metmuseum.org, which is the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Simply place a keyword in the “search” box, such as “Medieval” and artworks will be listed. Choose an artwork that you like, as you’ll be examining it closely.

Medieval & Renaissance: These are periods of time, yes, but it they are also art movements that happened in Europe. You should not choose artworks that were created in India, Africa, and South America, for example. If you’re using metmuseum.org, this will help you avoid that problem.

Format your assignment consistent with APA guidelines. A title page, introduction, and conclusion are not required for this assignment. Legitimate scholarly references (not Wikipedia, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, or About.com) should be used and cited, including a reference page. 3-5 sources are required.
